Wind Surge Walk off Drillers in 10th Inning
July 5, 2026 - WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Wind Surge (2-10) snapped a 10-game losing streak with a 9-8 walk-off victory over the Tulsa Drillers (8-4) in 10 innings Sunday night at Equity Bank Park. Quinn McDaniel delivered the game-winning hit, lining a two-run single in the bottom of the 10th to cap a three-run rally.

July 5, 2026 - FRISCO, Texas - After falling on the Fourth of July, the Frisco RoughRiders fought back with an 8-7 win over the Midland RockHounds to split the six-game series Sunday at Riders Field.
Midland (8-4, 40-40) jumped in front with another first-inning home run, as Cole Conn lifted off against Dylan MacLean (6-1) for a 2-0 lead over Frisco (6-6, 45-35). North Platte Rally Falls Short against Wind
July 5, 2026 - The Garden City Wind defeated the North Platte 80s 10-8 on July 5, 2026.
Garden City scored three runs in the first inning, then broke the game open with five runs in the fourth.
North Platte rallied with two runs in the ninth, but Garden City held on for the win.
Darius Freeman led Garden City, going 3-for-3 with two home runs, four runs scored, two RBIs, and two stolen bases.

Fuego Turns Tables on Trinidad
July 5, 2026 - The Santa Fe Fuego defeated the Trinidad Triggers 15-6 on July 5, 2026.
Santa Fe broke the game open with a 10-run third inning and never looked back.
The Fuego added two runs in the fifth, one in the sixth, and one more in the ninth to finish with 15 runs on 18 hits.
Sam Freedman led Santa Fe with a huge game, going 4-for-6 with a double, a home run, three RBIs, and two runs scored.
